Candice Naito
"I want my clients to see me and our other bankers as their ally and partner," says Candice Naito, who heads the Metro Region. "It's very important to have open communication both ways - whether the news is good or bad. A surprising number of women are hesitant to tell their banker if one of their stores isn't doing well, or if they're going to be overdrawn. But the best clients are the ones who call me every month to tell me how things are going. Because if I know what's going on there's a possibility I will be able to help."
Candice has been with Central Pacific Bank for 30 years. Prior to leading the Metro team, Candice headed the business banking division she had extensive consumer banking and branch experience. She knows that women in business often have a difficult time relating to male bankers, so it's very satisfying for her to be to be able to help women and small business.
